Zendor Offers Complimentary Catalogue Critique Service

Press Release

Zendor is offering a complimentary catalogue critique service for B2C mail order retailers. Retailers are being invited to send in one catalogue per organisation. The newly launched service involves expert, impartial guidance and advice from the marketing team at Zendor and is designed to give retailers a taste for how Zendor can improve the effectiveness of their catalogues. Zendor has inherited over 140 years’ experience in mail order sales from parent company, N Brown Group plc.

The Zendor catalogue critique service involves a design review of the retailer’s catalogue and this includes an analysis of the creative, layout, photography, editorial and print. Zendor will produce a summary report of its findings including which elements of the catalogue are effective and which may require improvement in order to increase customer responses and average order values.

A catalogue acts as a shop window for many retailers, so getting all elements of it right is fundamental to the success of the company. Poor catalogue design will directly impact on sales as well as damage the brand image. Producing catalogues is a complex and lengthy process and there are tried and tested rules involved. These can include using special offers to incentivise sales, using close-ups where detail needs highlighting and capitalising on key page locations.

Mail order retailers who are interested in taking-up Zendor’s offer of a free and confidential catalogue critique service, should contact Zoe Knightley, Zendor’s Marketing Account Manager direct on Tel: 0161 237 4910 or e-mail zoe.knightly@zendor.com.
