Zendor, the Manchester-based fulfilment expert, has been appointed by mail-order retailer Joseph Turner to print its Autumn/Winter recruitment insert. This follows a similar contract which Zendor successfully completed for the retailer last year. Joseph Turner is one of the UK’s largest mail-order retailers of premium quality shirts, ties, shoes and accessories for men. Under the contract, Zendor will be printing 2 million 12-page mini-catalogues for use in Joseph Turner’s forthcoming national newspaper and magazine customer recruitment campaign. The customer campaign is intended to drive sales via Joseph Turner’s Internet and telephone channels.
The appointment, made in July this year, will save Joseph Turner several thousand pounds per annum on printing services. With the money saved from the printing, Joseph Turner intends to invest heavily in its marketing functions, thereby enabling the retailer to target customers even more effectively.
Zendor is part of mail-order specialist, N Brown plc. N Brown has an extensive portfolio of catalogue brands, producing an average of 8.5 billion printed pages per year.Zendor will be printing the mini-catalogue at the end of September in time for the Autumn/Winter campaign, which is being launched in October 2005.
