Zendor Opens New Customer Service Centre

Outsourced fulfilment specialist, Zendor, announces the opening of a brand new customer service centre at its flagship warehouse in Chadderton, North Manchester. Zendor provides multi-channel customer management and fulfilment services to a range of blue-chip clients, including Early Learning Centre and River Island, and the introduction of the fully equipped, 48-seat customer service facility to its ‘showcase’ site is the next phase of business expansion and development for the company.

Zendor has relocated a customer team of around 30 advisors from city centre offices to the new operation within the core business and will recruit to fill the remaining seats. There is capacity to reach 150-seats for Christmas peak trading should client growth and new business development meet company expectations.

The new facility is an extension to Zendor’s customer service operations, sitting alongside parent company N Brown’s 1000-seat call centre and Zendor’s third party partners; all of which will fulfil Zendor client propositions. Zendor handle customer sale and service contacts for retailers in distance selling, encompassing telephony, online and postal transactions and queries, to the very highest levels of care and quality.

The migration of the Zendor customer service team to Chadderton completes the process of bringing all aspects of Zendor’s services and core teams under one roof. The centralisation of the company’s resources began in May 2007, following the acquisition of the warehouse in summer 2006.
